Felipa Andrade, age 99, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, she was born on Thursday, November 6, 1924 in Doctor Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Abdon and Rafaela Martinez.
Felipa married Manuel B. Andrade on January 29, 1966, She worked for West Oso ISD for 20 years, she was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church and had a passion for sewing, cooking and spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by Janie (Rudy) Garza, Minerva (Jesse) Lopez, Mary Lou Ruiz, 14 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. She helped raise 3 grandchildren; Crystal Villarreal, Rudy Garza Jr., and Jesse Lopez Jr. as well as 2 great grandchildren; Jerry and Jayden Villarreal.
Felipa is preceded in death by her parents; Abdon and Rafaela Martinez, husband; Manuel B. Andrade, children; Manuel Andrade Jr., Martha Blanco, brothers and sisters; Felix Martinez, Reyes MArtinez, Mauro Martinez, Abdon Martinez Jr., Apolonia Hernandez, Felicitas Martinez, and Rafaela Saldivar.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415 with the Holy Rosary to be Recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Procession will depart funeral home for the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Our Lady Of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington St., Corpus Christi, TX 78416. With burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
