Jose Consepcion Negrete Jr. 

March 11, 1968 - April 17, 2024 

Jose is a loving family man. He loves his wife, children and granddaughter more than anything on earth. 

Jose is a mentor and father figure to all who came through his path. More than anything he enjoys being outdoors with his family fishing, hiking, swimming and creating endless memories. 

He is a man you can always rely on. 

He is a man of knowledge and wisdom. 

We will miss his big smile, laughter, jokes and useless facts. 

His last day was at home in the comfort of his loving wife, children, and family. 

He will be missed and carried on until the end of time. Jose Conseption Negrete Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Jose C Negrete Sr, Ruth Silva, granddaughter Penelope June Gerdes, grandparents and great grandparents, and is survived by Elizabeth Negrete, Danielle Negrete, Jolissa Negrete, Aaron Negrete, Joseph Negrete, Hilario Baca, Caroline Gerdes, Jonathan Gerdes, Mr. & Mrs. Julian Nava, Mr. & Mrs. Ramiro Soliz, his loving sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and god children.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by shared memories of Joe. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic church 710 S. 19th. St. followed by burial at Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery. A Reception will follow at the Guardian Hall 5813 Ayers St./Carolyn.
